Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Monitor compliance with safety laws and safety regulations.
  • Train new operators.
  • Support machine problem solving activities and repairs.
  • Optimize processes collaborating with other functions.
  • Ensure production quality and operator inspection.
  • Meet requirements of the EATON business systems.
  • Fulfill the quality and management system.
  • Contribute to process continuous improvement using lean tools.
  • Coordinate with SCM interfaces for materials and shipping.
  • Lead and manage personnel effectively.
  • Participate in Tier meetings and manage shift change handover.
  • Monitor department KPIs including Safety and Quality.
  • Manage spare parts and maintenance activities.
  • Initiate processes in case of issues.
  • Manage waste correctly.

Skills

Cam‑controlled machines like: Bihler (preferred)
Basic technical understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, electric
Metal stamping, bending, welding, assembly
Experience with automated systems and machines
Skills in MS‑Office & SAP or other ERP systems
Leadership skills, teamwork ability and high level of motivation

Education

Technical education with mechanical certificates

What you’ll do:
  • Monitoring compliance with safety laws and specific EATON environmental and safety regulations / behavioral norms (e.g. Safety First, SLPA, Near Miss Program)
  • Training of new operators
  • Support machine problem solving activities and repairs
  • Optimization and continuous improvement of processes in collaboration with other organizational functions
  • Responsibility for production quality and operator inspection
  • Meeting the requirements of the EATON business systems in the responsible area
  • Fulfilling the quality and management system
  • Contributing to the optimization and continuous improvement of production processes using lean tools, motivating employees for continuous improvement (CI culture)
  • Coordination with SCM interfaces for raw material and shipping
  • Personnel responsibility and leadership
  • Responsibility for professional and disciplinary leadership
  • Work allocation and instruction of the employees
  • Active participation in various project teams
  • Leading and participation of Tier meetings
  • Shift change handover
  • Monitor and support department KPIs (Safety, OEE, Quality, etc.)
  • Manage spare parts and maintenance activities
  • Initiating the escalation process in case of issues
  • Waste management (right separation of different materials copers, steel)
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge acquired during the technical education, mechanical certificates are preferable
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience
Skills:
  • Cam‑controlled machines like: Bihler (preferred); Wafios, Finzer
  • Basic technical understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, electric
  • Metal stamping, bending, welding, assembly
  • Experience with automated systems and machines
