Emirates Islamic invites applications for a seasoned Shariah professional to support the Shariah Consultation unit. You will review products, services, contracts and initiatives to ensure alignment with Shariah principles, ISSC directives, and UAE regulatory requirements.

In this role you will advise stakeholders on Shariah matters, contribute to governance frameworks, review marketing materials and agreements, and conduct research to address emerging issues and support audits and regulatory

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Shariah, Islamic Finance, or related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Islamic banking, Shariah advisory or Shariah compliance.
• Advanced knowledge of AAOIFI standards, IIFM, IFSB and Higher Shariah Authority resolutions.
• Strong expertise in Islamic finance principles, Shariah governance, product structuring, research and risk assessment.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication and integrity.

Aufgaben

• Review new and existing products, services, contracts and initiatives to ensure compliance with Shariah principles and ISSC directives.
• Advise stakeholders on Shariah matters, product structuring and regulatory requirements.
• Support development and implementation of Shariah governance frameworks, policies and procedures.
• Review legal agreements, marketing materials and operational processes from a Shariah perspective.
• Conduct research on emerging Shariah issues and support Shariah audits, compliance reviews and regulatory examinations.
