Shuraa is looking for an experienced Senior SEO Specialist to drive the organic search strategy across the Group s digital platforms The role requires a strong combination of strategic thinking and hands-on execution The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying organic growth opportunities developing SEO strategies and directly implementing and overseeing initiatives across technical SEO content on-page optimisation off-page SEO and emerging AI-driven search channels This is a senior individual contributor role suited to someone who can independently assess performance define priorities and execute initiatives that contribute to qualified traffic lead generation and business growth

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies across Shuraa Group websites and digital properties
• Conduct technical SEO audits and identify issues related to crawling indexing site architecture Core Web Vitals redirects canonicals structured data and internal linking
• Work closely with development teams to implement and validate technical SEO recommendations
• Conduct keyword research search intent analysis competitor analysis and content gap assessments
• Identify opportunities across commercial informational and local search queries
• Optimise service pages landing pages blogs and other website content for organic performance
• Develop SEO content briefs and work closely with content teams to strengthen relevance quality and topical authority
• Review existing content and determine opportunities for improvement consolidation expansion or removal
• Develop and execute internal linking and site architecture strategies
• Manage off-page SEO initiatives including backlink acquisition digital PR brand mentions and authority building
• Strengthen E-E-A-T signals and the overall authority of Shuraa Group brands
• Manage local SEO and Google Business Profile optimisation where applicable
• Monitor organic search performance through Google Search Console GA4 and other SEO platforms
• Track SEO contribution to leads conversions and commercial performance in addition to traffic and rankings
• Analyse competitor activity and identify emerging opportunities within competitive search categories
• Monitor search engine updates and adapt strategies in line with changes in search behaviour and algorithms
• Develop Shuraa Group s approach to AI Search AEO and GEO with a focus on improving brand visibility across Google AI experiences ChatGPT Gemini Perplexity and other relevant platforms
• Identify opportunities to improve the likelihood of Shuraa Group content and expertise being referenced or cited across AI-driven search experiences
• Regularly report on organic performance key opportunities risks and recommended actions

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably within competitive lead-generation or service-based industries.
• Strong experience across technical SEO, on-page SEO, content SEO and off-page SEO.
• Demonstrated ability to develop SEO strategy while remaining actively involved in execution.
• Strong working knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of crawling, indexing, website architecture, structured data, redirects, canonicals and Core Web Vitals.
• Experience conducting detailed technical SEO audits and working directly with development teams on implementation.
• Strong understanding of keyword research, search intent, topical authority and content architecture.
• Experience developing SEO strategies focused on lead generation and commercial outcomes.
• Good understanding of evolving search trends, including AI Search, AEO and GEO.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear actions and priorities.
• Ability to independently manage multiple SEO initiatives across different websites or brands.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with content, development, design and marketing teams.
