First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) in the UAE seeks a Tuning, Calibration & Analytics specialist within Financial Crime Operations. The role involves tuning, calibrating, optimizing and analytics across sanctions screening and AML monitoring platforms, deploying fit-for-purpose configurations, reducing false positives and producing MI for stakeholders.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Technology, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
• ICA, CAMS or equivalent Financial Crime Compliance certification is an advantage.
• At least 4 years of experience in data analysis, data management and sanctions screening and/or AML monitoring systems, including tuning, calibration and threshold management.
• Strong knowledge of sanctions, AML monitoring concepts and financial crime control environments.
• Strong knowledge and experience of screening and monitoring platforms (e.g. Fircosoft filter, Firco Utilities and backends, or equivalent screening/AML monitoring tools).

• Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that the work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Deliver tuning and analytics projects for sanctions screening and AML monitoring, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
• Assist in design and system architecture discussions for sanctions screening and AML monitoring systems with relevant business users.
• Ensure proper UAT sessions and exercises for system implementations and changes.
• Provide ongoing support to local and international locations for country-specific configurations and performance of screening systems.
