Job summary

Key responsibilities include analyzing complex transactions, advising on regulatory changes, and producing clear, defensible recommendations for high-risk cases. Strong analytical and reporting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Ideally 5+ years in FCC/AML with at least 3 years in sanctions within a bank or financial institution.
• Hands-on exposure to sanctions investigations, screening, RFIs and regulatory lookbacks.
• Strong analytical capability to connect customers, entities, and transactions.
• Able to produce clear, defensible recommendations with independent case handling.
• Experience with sanctions screening tools and databases is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth due diligence and risk assessments on high-risk individuals, entities, and jurisdictions.
• Develop and implement sanctions screening processes including transaction monitoring and alert investigation.
• Analyze complex financial transactions and trade flows for red flags indicating sanctions breaches or ML risks.
• Provide expert advice on sanctions compliance and regulatory changes to business lines.
