Position Description

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and business development within the freight forwarding and logistics sector. This role will focus on expanding the company’s client base, strengthening relationships with existing clients, and driving revenue growth through new business opportunities.

  • Client Acquisition – Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within the freight forwarding and logistics sector.
  • Relationship Management – Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective clients by understanding their needs and delivering tailored logistics solutions.
  • Sales Strategy – Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive business growth, increase market share, and strengthen brand presence.
  • Market Intelligence – Conduct thorough market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with internal departments such as operations, marketing, and customer service, to ensure the seamless delivery of client solutions.
  • Proposal & Negotiation – Prepare and present customized proposals, pricing structures, and lead negotiations to close high-value deals.
  • Performance Monitoring – Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze sales data, and adjust strategies to optimize outcomes.
  • Industry Engagement – Represent the company at relevant events, conferences, and networking platforms to promote services and expand the client portfolio.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry, with a strong track record of business development and an existing client base or proven ability to generate new business in the UAE market.
  • In-depth knowledge of the UAE and broader Middle Eastern logistics markets and customer landscape.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets across all freight forwarding sectors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Results-driven mindset with a clear focus on revenue growth and business expansion.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Valid UAE driving license and access to a personal vehicle (preferred).
