Position Overview:
This role is ideal for highly motivated professionals with at least 7 years of experience selling digital payment solutions, such as merchant acquiring, card issuing, e-commerce gateways, and POS terminals to businesses across a wide range of sectors (retail, F&B, healthcare, travel, e-commerce, and more).
This is atarget-driven, base salary + commissionrole for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Merchant Acquisition & Strategic Selling
- Acquire new merchant clients and drive adoption of ourpayment solutions(POS, online payment gateways, card issuing services, etc.).
- Identify merchant pain points (e.g. reconciliation, fraud, cost of acceptance) and design tailored solutions using our product suite.
- Develop strong relationships with decision-makers (e.g., Product, Finance & Operations) across enterprise and SME clients.
- Prepare and present proposals, pricing models, and Product demos.
Sales Target Achievement
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas.
- Maintain a strong pipeline in CRM with accurate forecasting and timely follow-ups.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts to grow share of wallet.
Market Development
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes affecting digital payments and merchant services.
- Participate in conferences, networking events, and product roadshows to generate leads.
- Collaborate with the Product and Marketing teams to align on go-to-market strategies and customer feedback.
Experience & Industry Knowledge
- 7+ years of experience in B2B saleswithin fintech, payments, or banking.
- Direct experience in selling:
- Merchant Acquiring / Card Acceptance (POS + eComm)
- Payment Gateways / Tokenization / QR or Contactless Payments
- Card Issuing / BIN Sponsorship / Virtual Cards
- eWallets
- Familiarity with the full transaction lifecycle: onboarding, KYC, settlement,IMD, interchange, and chargebacks.
- Existing network of merchant and PSP relationships is a strong plus.
- Experience in UAE market is a MUST
- A Car is a MUST
Skills & Competencies
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage a pipeline, and close deals.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Language Requirements
- Fluent English (mandatory)– both written and verbal.
- Arabic and/or Urdu (a strong advantage) – especially for regional market coverage.
