Job summary

A leading engineering services firm in Sharjah seeks a Sales Engineer to develop and execute strategies for revenue growth in Marine, Oil & Gas, and other sectors. Candidates should have a technical background, proven sales experience in the UAE, and excellent interpersonal skills. A valid UAE driving license is mandatory. Qualifications

Job description
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in assigned territories and sectors (Marine, Oil & Gas, Water, Wastewater, Industrial, Chemical and Other segments).
  • Meet or exceed the set Key Performance Indicators and Sales Objectives for short term, medium term and long term growth.
  • Analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate products and technical solutions from our portfolio (pumps, electrical & instrumentation products, Sustainability solutions, HSE services and other offering of company).
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and quotations to clients.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, project, management, and service teams at customers to develop business and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and service contracts.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities.
  • Participate in trade shows, technical seminars, and training sessions to stay updated on product developments and industry standards.
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review.
  • Identify and qualify potential customers through contacts, cold calls, networking.
  • Coordination with the principals we represent and add value creation to our partners.

Skills

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical engineering preferred, Electrical, or Instrumentation/Other Engineering also considered.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience in industrial equipment, pumps, electrical or automation sectors, service related sales in UAE.
  • Technical knowledge of Pumps, Electrical & instrumentation systems, Marine engineering services.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with UAE/GCC industrial, Marine, Oil and Gas markets and key sectors is preferred.
  • Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
