About the role

The EMEA Sales team is looking for a highly motivated Senior Sales Account Executive eager to sell disruptive technology solutions in the commodities market and develop our presence in the African market. Your mission is to own the full sales cycle: prospect new business, develop opportunities, demo the product, and close sales.

What you’ll do
  1. Build relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to grow new business.
  2. Execute business development activities with the support of a pre-sales representative, including prospecting and cold calling, to strategically grow the customer base. Develop a replicable sales process to drive closure.
  3. Follow up on qualified opportunities brought by the pre-sales team.
  4. Conduct live demonstrations on web applications via virtual or physical meetings.
  5. Collaborate with our global sales team, product, and market analysts to build the best product in the market and close global deals.
  6. Travel three times per quarter to industry events and conferences as a Kpler representative to meet prospects.
  7. Provide accurate and up-to-date sales forecasts for weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets.
You are or have...
  • 5-7 years of experience as an Account Manager selling data, tech, or SaaS products to the energy or commodity-related industry (MUST HAVE).
  • Fluency in English; additional languages such as French are an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the African market.
  • Strong negotiation, closing, and active listening skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex client requirements and needs.
  • A successful track record of selling complex products through a consultative approach—building relationships, defining needs, and closing sales by proposing the right solutions.
  • Driven, self-disciplined, and able to work autonomously in fast-paced, unstructured environments.
  • Easy-going, motivated, and passionate—you're a hunter.
