Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety engineering or related technical discipline.
• Proven experience in risk assessment and safety reviews for inspections/maintenance.
• Knowledge of HSE procedures, permits, and control measures.
• Certification or postgraduate qualification in HSE is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed risk assessments for inspection, maintenance, structural and operational activities.
• Identify hazards and evaluate risk levels before work execution.
• Review structural and operational parameters to verify safe working conditions.
• Evaluate method statements, procedures, and safety documentation before authorization.
• Grant or recommend high-level execution authorization after safety verification.
• Verify compliance with HSE procedures, permits, controls, and requirements.
• Monitor high-risk activities and propose corrective actions for unsafe conditions.
• Maintain safety records, risk assessments, approvals, and compliance reports.
