Job summary

Corporate Group in Dubai UAE seeks a Senior Consultant in Risk Advisory to lead ERM, ICoFR and SOX engagements for financial services clients. You will supervise juniors, manage client relationships, and report to management on risk and control findings.

The role blends hands-on fieldwork with risk assessment, control design and testing, and communication to audit committees. Strong IFRS knowledge and COSO/ISO 31000 experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
• 5 years in risk advisory, internal audit, or ICoFR/SOX in a consulting or professional services firm.
• Hands-on experience with ERM (COSO, ISO 31000) and ICoFR/SOX testing methodology.
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS; experience with UAE insurance or banking clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead ERM and risk assessments across engagements.
• Design and implement ERM frameworks and risk registers.
• Lead ICoFR and SOX engagements from end-to-end testing to remediation.
• Plan and execute internal audits with clear evidence-based reports.
• Advise clients on control and governance implications of accounting policy changes under IFRS.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and supervise junior staff.
• Present findings to boards and audit committees alongside senior team members.
