Job summary

UAE Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Consultant Restorative Dentist to deliver comprehensive restorative and rehabilitative dental care in a multidisciplinary setting. The role emphasizes treatment planning, complex restorations, and collaboration with prosthodontists and other specialists.

The ideal candidate holds a Western postgraduate credential, has consultant-level experience in Restorative Dentistry, and can lead evidence-based plans with strong patient communication.

Qualifications

• Dental degree with postgraduate qualification in Restorative Dentistry or a relevant specialty.
• Recognized Western qualification (UK/US/Canada/Australia/NZ/Ireland/Germany or equivalent).
• Consultant-level experience in Restorative Dentistry.
• Strong experience in complex restorative and comprehensive dental rehabilitation.
• Advanced skills in aesthetic and functional restorative procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for restorative cases.
• Manage complex restorative and rehabilitative conditions.
• Perform direct and indirect restorative procedures, including complex composites and esthetic restorations.
• Provide crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays, onlays where appropriate.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary dental team to manage rehabilitation.
• Assess tooth wear and defective restorations and plan rehab.
• Engage with Prosthodontists, Periodontists, Endodontists, Orthodontists, and Oral Surgeons as needed.
• Use imaging and clinical assessment to develop evidence-based plans.
• Maintain infection control, patient safety, and documentation.
• Explain options, risks, and maintenance to patients.
• Participate in audits, CPD, and teaching.
