Senior Resident Engineer (Infrastructure & Utilities)

Dubai, UAE

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Resident Engineer to join our team! In this role you will manage the construction supervision of infrastructure projects and directly contribute to the ever-growing infrastructure of Dubai.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Manage the scope of engineering work, schedules, change management and closeout for the assigned project elements, and monitor progress to meet schedule and budget requirements. Identify and document changes in scope.
• Lead construction supervision team for infrastructure works related to a high‑profile community development project in Dubai.
• Coordinate with authorities and agencies for approvals and handing over of project/services.
• Interface with contractor and subcontractors to facilitate compliance with the contract and deliverables.
• Review work produced to ensure that applicable codes, standards and procedures are followed and that quality is acceptable.
• Review and approve change orders. Notify project management and other affected personnel of all changes.
• Manage the client’s expectations and update the progress periodically.
• Liaise with authorities to ensure smooth execution and handing over of the project.
• Ensure that Parsons rights and obligations are fulfilled.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 20+ years of overall work experience in construction supervision of infrastructure (including roads, utilities, community development projects) within UAE, preferably Dubai.
• Knowledge of NOC procedures, commissioning and various government authority specifications & procedures in the emirate of Dubai.
• Good communication skills both written and spoken.
• Good technical knowledge and well versed with the standards and codes.
• Good computer skills and software proficiency in related fields.
• Knowledge in construction health, safety and environment.
