Job summary

Whizz HR is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer for high-rise projects in Dubai. You will supervise site activities, coordinate from design through completion, review Revit/BIM models, and liaise with consultants, contractors, architects, and clients.

Required: a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field, 10+ years' experience in high-rise building projects, and proven leadership and communication skills to manage site teams and ensure quality and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience, with strong background in high-rise buildings.
• Proven experience as Resident Engineer, Project Engineer, or Site Engineer on large-scale building projects.
• Strong knowledge of Revit and BIM for high-rise projects.
• Experience reviewing and coordinating architectural, structural, and MEP drawings/models.
• Strong experience in site supervision, project coordination, quality control, inspections, and progress monitoring.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, engineering standards, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage site activities for large-scale high-rise building projects.
• Coordinate projects from design coordination through construction and completion.
• Review and coordinate Revit/BIM models, architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, architects, MEP teams, and clients.
• Monitor construction progress, quality, inspections, and site execution.
• Identify and resolve technical and construction-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, engineering standards, and quality requirements.
• Ensure adherence to Dubai construction regulations and authority requirements.
• Lead site teams and maintain effective communication with project stakeholders.
