Job summary

A leading engineering consultant in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Resident Engineer (Civil Defense) to manage a team of professionals and ensure compliance with project quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of experience, with at least 5 years in the UAE, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Responsibilities include overseeing site activities, reviewing engineering submissions, and managing project-related disputes.

Qualifications

• 12-15 years of experience with 5 years in UAE.
• Strong engineering and technical background.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of architects, engineers and specialists.
• Supervise adherence to project Health and Safety Plan.
• Review and approve shop drawings and engineering submissions.
• Administer Change orders and respond to contractor inquiries.

Skills

Management of multi-discipline teams

Understanding of FIDIC contracts

Excellent communication skills

Microsoft Office proficiency

Education
