Job summary

A leading healthcare organization in Dubai is seeking a Nursing Team Leader to manage the provision of patient-centric nursing care. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of nursing experience, including 2 years in a senior role, preferably with oncology experience. This role offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated team and enhance patient experiences in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of nursing experience preferably in a private hospital or clinic.
  • 2+ years of senior nursing experience.
  • Oncology experience is preferred.

Main Purpose of Job

Lead and manage the nursing team in the provision of patient-centric and evidence based nursing care operational efficiency and positive patient experiences

Key Responsibility Areas
  • To provide strong leadership and management guidance to the team
  • To ensure evidenced based patient care practices are followed as per clinical standards
  • To ensure a positive patient care experience by developing employees and creating an environment for team engagement
  • To manage allocated clinical and non-clinical resources in a cost effective and efficient manner to enhance safe patient care
  • To ensure compliance with legislative regulatory and clinical standards to ensure continues quality improvement
Required Education

A Bachelors Degree in Nursing from a recognised or accredited Nursing Institute

Required Experience
  • At least 5 years nursing experience preferably in a private hospital or clinic
  • At least 2 years senior nursing experience
  • Oncology experience is preferred
Required Job Skills and Knowledge
  • Demonstrate the ability to implement all five (5) stages of the Scientific Nursing Process (assessment planning nursing diagnosis implementation and evaluation)
  • Relevant JCIA and other related governance and regulatory standards
  • Application of the nursing scope of practices as per the regulatory framework
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Financial management principles
  • Risk management principles systems and best practice
  • Stock control principles and management
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English
