Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed reinforcement shop drawings for high-rise structures including slabs, beams, columns, walls, cores, and foundations.
• Develop accurate Bar Bending Schedules in accordance with approved structural drawings and project specifications.
• Review IFC and structural drawings to identify discrepancies and raise RFIs where required.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, site engineers, and QA-QC teams to resolve design and constructability issues.
• Ensure reinforcement detailing complies with ACI, BS, ASTM, and UAE local authority standards.
• Revise drawings based on consultant and client comments while maintaining proper revision control.
• Provide technical support to site teams for clarification during construction activities.
• Optimize reinforcement quantities to reduce material wastage and improve cost efficiency.
• Ensure timely submission of drawings in line with project schedules.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of approved drawings and Bar Bending Schedules.

Ideal Profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience as a Rebar Detailer.
• Proven experience on high-rise building projects within the UAE or GCC.
• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete structures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Experience with rebar detailing software such as Revit, Tekla, or ASD is an advantage.
