Payward, the parent company behind Kraken and other crypto platforms, is expanding its Consumer Mobile team to Asia. We are building a new React Native app for Asian users, focusing on regional UX, performance, and trustworthy financial experiences.

As a Senior Software Engineer - React Native, you will ship end-to-end features, collaborate with Product and Design, manage real-time data APIs, and ensure robust mobile apps across devices, including handling firewall and connectivity constraints

Qualifications

• Strong React Native experience with production apps.
• Product mindset and strong product judgment.
• End-to-end ownership of features.
• Experience building apps using APIs and real-time data.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Build and own high-quality React Native features end to end.
• Partner with Product and Design to shape experiences including trading.
• Work with APIs and real-time data, focusing on performance and reliability.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and code reviews in a fast-growing fintech environment.
• Lead regional UX considerations for Asian markets and adapt for connectivity restrictions.
