Job summary

Sener is seeking a Senior Telecom Engineer to lead the design and delivery of railway telecommunications systems in Dubai, UAE. You will coordinate with Signaling, Power, Civil, and other disciplines across all design stages, ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years in rail/metro telecom, strong AutoCAD skills, and excellent English communication for multidisciplinary coordination and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of overall engineering experience, majority in Rail & Metro.
• Extensive experience in railway telecommunications systems design and delivery.
• Strong knowledge of railway telecom architectures, networks and multidisciplinary design coordination.
• Experience with Fibre Optic Backbone, Structured Cabling, IP/MPLS, CCTV, PA, PIS, Access Control, Radio, Telephony, Intercom, Master Clock.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and related telecom design tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication/Electronic/Electrical/Communication Engineering or related field.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and technical delivery of railway telecommunications systems across all design stages (concept to IFC).
• Develop and review telecom designs, specs, reports, drawings, and system architectures.
• Coordinate telecom designs with Signaling, Power, MEP, Civil, Track and third‑party systems.
• Lead design reviews, workshops, and interface coordination; support installation and commissioning.
