Job summary

Archirodon, a leading EPC contractor, seeks a Tendering Engineer - E&I to join our Dubai, UAE team. You will review design documents, prepare material take-offs, MARs, and provide technical input for QS activities in oil and gas EPC projects.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, has about 8 years of Quantity Surveying experience in oil and gas EPC projects, and is proficient with AutoCAD, Navisworks and Excel.

Qualifications

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8 years of Quantity Surveying experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• Strong ability to interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, painting specs, insulation specs, and other piping-related docs.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Navisworks, and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review design documents to identify discrepancies early in the project lifecycle.
• Prepare material registers and ensure readiness for execution timelines.
• Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors for quantity take-offs, material take-offs, and variation orders.
• Prepare method statements defining safe, efficient, and compliant on-site procedures.
• Submit MARs ensuring adherence to technical specs and approved vendor lists.
• Respond to Technical Queries with well-supported solutions.
• Review isometric drawings to optimize spool configurations and reflect routing/dimensions.
• Manage revisions of isometric drawings to minimize changes and waste.
• Prepare BOQs, RFQs, and initiate purchase requests.
