Job summary

Dubai Municipality is seeking a Civil Engineer with 3 years of experience to conduct cost analyses, prepare tender documents and Bills of Quantities, and manage budgets for municipal projects. The role requires coordination with the responsible engineer and the Finance Department to ensure audit accuracy and timely project handover.

You will prepare periodic reports on completed works, delays, and financial claims while adhering to information security and confidentiality policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 3 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct project cost analyses and maintenance cost analyses, participate in identifying client requirements and feasibility studies, and prepare tender and contract documents and Bills of Quantities (BoQs) in coordination with the responsible engineer
• Analyze tender costs and contribute to the analysis and development of project-related business activities, and ensure the accuracy of the audit of final accounts for completed projects upon handover
• Prepare and compile tender and contract documents and Bills of Quantities (BoQs) in coordination with the responsible engineer
• Manage budgets and costs, monitor performance, and ensure the accuracy of the audit of final accounts for completed projects upon handover, in coordination with the Accounts Section of the Finance Department and the concerned department
• Prepare periodic reports on completed works, challenges encountered, project delays, financial claims, and any other relevant matters
• Perform all assigned duties and responsibilities related to the information security and confidentiality policy and within delegated authorities
