Job summary

MPH is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor (Civil) for Abu Dhabi site-based work on oil & gas EPC projects. The role demands extensive experience in quantity surveying, BOQ preparation, cost control, and contractual administration, with coordination across construction and engineering teams.

The position requires strong software proficiency (AutoCAD, MS Excel) and a deep understanding of EPC contracts and project specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 14+ years of quantity surveying experience on oil and gas EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil, structural quantities and infrastructure measurement.
• Experience with BOQ preparation, cost control, variations, claims, and subcontractor payments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and QS software.
• In-depth understanding of EPC contracts and project specs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates for civil and structural works.
• Review IFC drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accurate quantity measurements.
• Monitor and evaluate subcontractor progress, interim payment applications, and variations.
• Prepare and verify progress measurement reports, monthly valuations, and payment certificates.
• Manage variation orders, claims, and additional work quantities in accordance with contract requirements.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, planning, procurement, and commercial teams.
• Maintain accurate quantity records, cost reports, and supporting documentation

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates -Site based (Habshan & Bu hasa) – depending on project requirement

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: 24 Months

Employment Status: Single status/Resident/Onshore

Services Description
