Job summary

Confidential Company in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor Civil for an oil and gas EPC project. Site-based in Habshan area with project-dependent variations. Start ASAP for a 24-month contract.

You will prepare take-offs, BOQs, cost estimates; review IFC drawings; manage variations, interim payments and payments certificates. Strong AutoCAD and Excel skills essential. Candidate should have at least 14 years' experience in oil and gas EPC quantity surveying, with civil/structural

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required; minimum 14+ years in QS for oil and gas EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil, structural, concrete, foundations, earthworks and infrastructure quantities.
• Experience in BOQ preparation, cost control, variations, claims, and subcontractor payments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and QS software; EPC contracts and project specs understood.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify quantity take-offs, BOQs and cost estimates for civil and structural works.
• Review IFC drawings, specs and contract docs to ensure accurate quantities.
• Monitor subcontractor progress, interim payments and variations.
• Prepare progress reports, monthly valuations and payment certificates.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, planning, procurement and commercial teams.
• Maintain accurate quantity records, cost reports and supporting documentation.

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor Civil for one of our clients with the following details.

• Location: Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates -Site based Habshan Bu hasa depending on project requirement
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Duration: 24 Months
• Employment Status: Single status Resident Onshore

• Prepare and verify quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates for civil and structural works
• Review IFC drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accurate quantity measurements
• Monitor and evaluate subcontractor progress, interim payment applications, and variations
• Prepare and verify progress measurement reports, monthly valuations, and payment certificates
• Manage variation orders, claims, and additional work quantities in accordance with contract requirements
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, planning, procurement, and commercial teams
• Maintain accurate quantity records, cost reports, and supporting documentation
