Key roles and responsibilities:
Estimating quantity as per Approved for Construction drawings based on actual onsite change in quantity asper site conditions.
Coordinate with site construction team and Engineering department to finalize and certify the actual physical
work done at site to facilitate subcontractor payments.
Review of scope of work, project Preamble, Drawings and Specifications.
Ensure quantity take off QS Team are within the company standards and project requirements and scheduled
Scope are available in the system for Monitoring.
Monitoring of field design changes as per site conditions and STQ and processing of Subcontractor workpayments
Monitoring quantity of material received by material controller, issued, and used at site by subcontractor tofacilitate weekly progress.
Evaluations of Site Instruction with Planned cost in comparison to original approved contract scope of workand identify difference in scope of works and subsequently finalize the site instruction with Planned cost and
submit to through by Cost control and get approval by Company.
Ensure that the subcontractor submits a new price If activity is not included in original scope of works andsubsequently process the new price for evaluation and approval from management.
Assessment of change work Orders and Variations (Subcontractor and Client) in line with the Contract ofAgreement.
Monitor flow of Payments to subcontractors against budget quantities and actual progress done.
Evaluation of Progress Measurement submitted by Subcontractor QS and generating reports to Companys
Main system for progress Measurement and Accounting.
Review and Assessment of complex and high-risk scope of works for possible Value Engineering.
Monitoring the weekly man hours spent against the budget man hours.
Proposal of Tagging system for new items with corresponding activities for proper identification andmonitoring.
Review of Tender Documents and Client requirements.
Evaluation of Material Specification and Prices of Vendors /Subcontractors against Project Specifications.
Monitoring projects with respect to budgeted cost, demand forecasts, time over-runs to ensure timelyexecution of projects.
Analysis of feasibility reports of various projects to locate the bottlenecks in the project for timely completion.
Coordinate technical and Commercial meetings with client and subcontractors.
Conduct Joint survey by both Parties going to site visit, and check to actual work done Progress Measurementaligned with Finalized Weekly Progress Percentage
The candidate must possess expertise/experience in the following domains:
Proven leadership capability.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or construction related technical/business field
10+ years of related construction phase experience is required, with 5+ years of UAE Experience
Incumbent should have a broad general technical and business background.
Professional registration may also be required.
Must have the ability to manage projects, interface with clients and enjoy being hands on technically in theproject.
Should be involved when required in the designs on the project.
Capability in scheduling using Primavera P6 and ongoing monitoring and driving of projects with well-orderedand logical sequence;
Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards. Proven ability to perform in a management capacity,excellent written and oral communications.
Strong eye for detail coupled with a methodical and organized approach;
You will be a forward-thinking individual ready to change the status quo and bring fresh ideas to the team onhow we can manage and deliver our projects.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills will be well utilised and your ability to develop internaland external working relationships is essential
