Job summary

TalentOne in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Quality Assurance/Inspection Lead to manage supplier and site quality for piping and structural materials, ensuring compliance with project specs, ITPs, QCPs, and international standards.

The role includes coordinating with Engineering, Supply Chain, vendors, and Client representatives, conducting capability assessments, NCRs, and documenting inspection results; EPC contractor experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree/ Diploma in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years' quality/inspection experience.
• Strong knowledge of piping and structural steel drawings.
• Working knowledge of international codes and standards.
• Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry experience mandatory.
• Previous EPC contractor experience required.
• Strong vendor inspection, procurement quality and NCR management skills.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review procurement documents, POs, supplier ITPs, WPS and quality requirements.
• Establish inspection criticality, supplier quality requirements and project QCPs, ITPs and ITRs.
• Conduct supplier capability assessments and vendor surveillance.
• Review supplier QA/QC systems and material certificates.
• Verify materials against drawings/datasheets; witness inspections and tests.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Completions, vendors, TPI and Client representatives.
• Identify, issue and track NCRs, technical queries and corrective actions.
• Monitor PRs, inspection progress and MRB submissions.
• Prepare inspection reports, release notes and quality documentation.
• Provide technical support to suppliers and resolve discrepancies.
• Support PetroPCS setup and ensure integration with project completion systems.

• Establish inspection criticality, supplier qualityrequirements and project-specific QCPs, ITPs and ITRs.
• Conduct supplier capability assessments, post-orderevaluations, pre-inspection meetings and vendor surveillance.
• Review supplier QA/QC systems, inspection procedures,personnel qualifications and material certificates.
• Verify materials/products against approved drawings,datasheets and specifications; witness inspections and testing.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Completions,vendors, TPI and Client/Owner representatives.
• Identify, issue and track NCRs, technical queries, deviationsand corrective actions through closure.
• Monitor purchase requisitions, inspection progress and timelyMRB/document submission.
• Prepare inspection reports, release notes, capabilityassessment reports and quality documentation.

• Support PetroPCS setup and ensure inspection requirements areproperly integrated with project completion systems.
