Job summary

AL Marwan General Contracting Company in the UAE seeks an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong expertise in commercial management of large-scale construction projects, particularly high-rise and deep excavation works. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
MRICS/Chartered QS status is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of UAE construction market rates and pricing.
Proven experience in estimating and cost management software.
Experience with BIM-based quantity extraction is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Prepare, submit, negotiate, and certify Interim Payment Applications and certificates.
Manage variations and change orders, including pricing and negotiations.
Prepare CVRs, cash-flow forecasts, and cost-to-complete reports.
Oversee subcontract procurement, tendering, and contract finalization.
Lead value engineering to optimize project costs while maintaining quality.
Support EOT and prolongation cost claims substantiation.
Manage claims and disputes with clients, consultants, and subs.
Lead Final Accounts compilation and agreement.
Monitor profitability, risks, and cost performance.
Collaborate with Project Managers and design teams on commercial matters.
