Job summary

McDermott is seeking a Senior QHSES Assurance Specialist in Dubai to enhance the QHSES discipline across projects and functions. The role acts as a resource for colleagues, sharing expertise to solve complex quality issues and ensure compliance with established policies and guidelines.

The successful candidate will lead the development of the new management system, mentor teammates, and drive major quality initiatives in collaboration with process SMEs and Quality Directors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of EPC construction or fabrication experience.
• Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities.
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and establishment of the new management system.
• Partner with Functional Process SMEs to drive Quality Systems initiatives.
• Identify and work with Quality Directors to resolve complex issues.
• Administer training for new team members.
• Design, implement, and enforce company document templates.
• Lead audits and report results per the plan.
• Analyze trends to set targets and drive improvements.
• Lead root cause analysis for quality-related issues.
