Job summary
A leading developer in Dubai is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to ensure all construction activities comply with quality standards, project specifications, and local regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, significant QA/QC experience, and a strong understanding of construction practices and authority requirements. This role involves daily site inspections, material reviews, and coordination with contractors to uphold quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in a similar QA/QC role with at least 3 years in the UAE.
- Prior experience working with consulting engineering firms on high-rise/residential building projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, quality standards, and local authority requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily site inspections to ensure quality compliance with project specifications.
- Review and verify material submittals, method statements, and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Monitor and document construction activities, raising and closing non-conformance reports when necessary.
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure proper implementation of QA/QC procedures.
- Attend regular quality meetings with the client, main contractor, and project team.
- Prepare and submit inspection reports, snag lists, and handover documentation.
- Ensure compliance with UAE local authority regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and participate in third-party inspections when required.
- Collaborate with the design and supervision teams to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain proper documentation and quality records in accordance with ISO standards.
