Job summary

Stantec is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to join our on-site team in Ras Al Khaimah to support a construction supervision project. You will develop and implement QC plans, lead ISO audits, review contractor QA/QC procedures, and drive adherence to quality standards across the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 10 years of QA/QC experience in utilities/infrastructure, with strong leadership and communication skills, and familiarity with UAE infrastructure networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional certifications in quality management and auditing are preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in QA/QC, preferably in utilities and infrastructure projects (Required)
• Demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with project teams and stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and standards.
• Experience in leading quality inspections and ISO audits (Preferred)
• Ability to review and approve contractors QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and method statements (Preferred)
• Proven track record in developing and implementing quality control plans and procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to conduct root cause analysis.
• Proficient in monitoring and reporting on quality performance metrics.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Professional certifications in quality management and auditing (preferred)
• MUST HAVE experience working with supervision consultants
• MUST HAVE full and complete knowledge of existing infrastructure networks in the UAE
• Valid driver's license (Preferred)
