Job summary

Astek Middle East in Dubai is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to improve quality for enterprise-level eCommerce solutions in the airline and travel sector. You will design and execute testing strategies across web and mobile apps, with emphasis on automation using Selenium WebDriver.

The role requires strong hands-on QA experience, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a proactive approach to ensure release quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• +5 years of professional Software Quality Assurance experience, ideally at Senior level.
• Strong hands-on experience in Test Planning, Functional Testing, UI Testing, Regression Testing, and Test Automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Implement and execute QA strategies for eCommerce websites and mobile applications.
• Participate in requirements and specification reviews to ensure software testability.
• Establish and maintain traceability between business requirements and test cases.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver or similar tools.
• Prepare and manage required test environments and test data.
• Execute functional, regression, UI, and integration testing.
• Validate software releases and provide Go/No-Go recommendations.
• Identify, report, track, and verify defects with development teams.
• Maintain and improve the regression test repository.
• Support UAT activities with customers.
• Communicate testing progress, quality risks, defects, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product teams, and other stakeholders.
