Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Sr. Test Engineer based in United Arab Emirates. You will own testing across functional, integration, and regression areas in Agile teams, driving quality from test case design to defect resolution.

The role emphasizes automation opportunities and process improvements, with strong collaboration across engineering and business units. You’ll work independently within multiple Scrum teams, translating requirements into effective testing strategies

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Scrum and Agile environments.
• Full software testing lifecycle experience.
• Functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
• Experience with automated change management and change-control processes.
• Excellent communication across cross-functional teams.
• 3+ years in test automation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform integration, regression, and functional testing to ensure requirements are met.
• Create, review, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases.
• Translate requirements into effective testing scenarios and criteria.
• Identify, document, track, and validate defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Scrum teams in Agile delivery.
• Support multiple teams and complex testing assignments with quality standards.
• Apply software engineering disciplines and change-control standards.
• Participate in peer code reviews and uphold quality standards.
• Propose improvements to testing processes, coverage, and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for test automation and support TDD approaches.
• Work independently and adapt to evolving technologies and methodologies.
• Analyze issues, reconcile results, and identify root causes.
