Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking aSenior Project Manager in Abu Dhabi to lead the planning, execution and delivery of major projects across the UAE. You will oversee client relationships, coordinate consultants and contractors, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery to high quality standards.

The role requires strong project management expertise, stakeholder management capabilities, commercial acumen and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams through the full project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• 12+ years of experience in real estate or major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of full project lifecycle: planning, design, procurement, construction and handover.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of project controls, cost management, scheduling, risk management, and reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing capabilities.
• Experience on transportation, roads, utilities, aviation, rail, water, energy, or urban development projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of projects from feasibility through close-out stages.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams, consultants, contractors, and specialist advisors.
• Develop and maintain project execution plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and reporting frameworks.
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, governance standards, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage stakeholder engagement activities with clients, authorities, partners, and project stakeholders.
• Coordinate project reviews and delivery activities to ensure successful outcomes.
• Lead risk management processes and address project challenges and opportunities.
• Oversee contractor and consultant performance, contract administration, variations, claims, and commercial matters.
• Prepare and present project progress reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
• Support business development activities and client relationship initiatives.
• Mentor and develop junior project managers and team members.
• Promote safety, collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.

Job Description

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of major projects across Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
