Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Project Engineer with onshore EPC project experience to be based in Abu Dhabi for a PMC project. Ideal candidates have 12–15+ years in Oil & Gas, EPC/EPCM delivery, and strong site execution capabilities.

Responsibilities include multidisciplinary coordination, progress monitoring, and ensuring HSE and QA/QC compliance across the project lifecycle from construction to handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering or similar.
• 12–15+ years of Oil & Gas project experience, including EPC/EPCM.
• Strong construction and site execution background.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor site execution activities within the assigned project scope.
• Ensure effective multidiscipline alignment among Contractor, Subcontractors, Operations, Engineering, Commissioning, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor construction progress against the approved/revised schedule.
• Support construction completion, handover, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and energization readiness.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality requirements, and project specifications.
• Lead and participate in site meetings, technical discussions and progress reviews.
• Maintain tracking and close-out of priorities, interfaces and deliverables.
• Provide concise progress reporting and escalate critical risks and issues to PM.

KBR is looking for Senior Project Engineer with Onshore project experience in MEGA EPC projects to be based in Abu Dhabi for PMC project.

Requirements

• Education / Degree Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or another relevant Engineering discipline from a recognized university.
• Experience Manage and coordinate day-to-day engineering activities and SPIR/spare-parts coordination between the Contractor, Vendors, and relevant Company departments Preferably 12–15+ years of Oil & Gas project experience, including EPC/EPCM projects.
• Strong construction and site execution background.
• Previous ADNOC / PMC project experience is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in coordinating and monitoring multidisciplinary activities, including Mechanical, Piping, Civil, E&I, Construction, Commissioning, HSE, and QA/QC.
• Experience working through the construction, completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover phases of major Oil & Gas projects.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Control and monitor site execution activities within the assigned project scope.
• Ensure effective multidiscipline alignment among the Contractor, Subcontractors, Operations, Engineering, Commissioning, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor construction progress against the approved/revised schedule.
• Support construction completion, system handover, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and energization readiness.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, quality requirements, project specifications, approved procedures, and contractual obligations.
• Lead and participate in site meetings, technical discussions, progress reviews, coordination meetings, and site walkdowns.
• Maintain clear tracking and close-out of priorities, constraints, action items, interfaces, and project deliverables.
• Provide concise progress reporting and promptly escalates critical risks, constraints, and issues to Project Management.
• Demonstrate strong ownership and accountability for assigned site activities, ensuring effective coordination between all disciplines and stakeholders.
