Job summary

Mc Dermott is seeking a Senior Project Accountant to oversee financial control across projects in Dubai, UAE. This full-time position involves maintaining accurate billing, cost tracking, and compliance for energy infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, alongside 5 to 7 years of relevant experience. The role offers a monthly salary of 14,000–22,000 AED based on market estimates, with the opportunity for substantial career growth.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of project accounting experience in oil and gas, EPCI, or construction sectors.
• Strong understanding of billing processes in the Energy and Construction industry.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to financial accuracy.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams in fast‑paced project environments.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with project teams to understand billing terms and customer contract requirements.
• Prepare and review customer invoices and supporting documentation.
• Generate Executive Summary Reports for inter‑company projects.
• Support project procurement and subcontract teams in maintaining project cash flows.
• Review project costs and ensure correct cost allocation.
