Job summary

Mc Dermott is seeking a Senior Production Engineer based in Dubai, UAE. This full-time role involves managing fabrication production engineering activities across major offshore and petrochemical projects, ensuring productivity and cost efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in the industry, leading multidisciplinary teams and complex projects. The position offers exposure to international EPIC projects and opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in offshore and petrochemical industries.
• Strong expertise in production engineering, fabrication planning, and optimization techniques.
• Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and large-scale fabrication projects.
• Strong problem-solving ability for complex technical and operational challenges.
• Proficiency in production engineering software and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise discipline production engineers and identify project resource requirements for fabrication execution.
• Manage full contractual scope of work, contract milestones, and project schedule reporting.
• Lead fabrication four-week look-ahead planning, including prioritization of materials and drawings.
• Chair production four-week look-ahead meetings and forecast fabrication and engineering requirements.
• Resolve technical problems and initiate site queries to improve productivity.
• Chair weekly project production meetings and manage weekly fabrication progress.
