A leading engineering firm in Dubai seeks a qualified professional for the design of water and wastewater treatment plants. The ideal candidate will have a BSc. in Chemical Engineering, 10 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with Biowin Model. The role is full-time and requires project management skills, alongside the ability to review technical submissions. Travel across GCC may be needed.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in the design of domestic and industrial wastewater treatment plants.
• Experience in designing desalination plants and sludge treatment facilities.

Responsibilities

• Design water and wastewater treatment plants and related facilities.
• Review process and material design submittals.
• Participate in tender preparation and manage junior engineers.

Job description

• Design of water and wastewater treatment plants sludge treatment facilities and odour control units
• Review process design submittals
• Review material submittals related to process
• Participate in tender preparation
• Travel across GCC and middle east (when needed) for meetings site visits inspections etc.
• Manage junior engineers

Qualifications :

• BSc. in Chemical Engineering MSC. in Chemical Engineering is a plus.
• 10Years of experience in the design of the following:
  • Domestic wastewater treatment plants
  • Industrial wastewater treatment plants
  • Desalination plants
  • Sludge dewatering drying and treatment facilities
  • Odour control units
• Experience in running Biowin Model
• Experience in running RO membrane projections using any of the available software
