Job summary

Azizi Developments seeks a Senior Reinforcement Detailer to produce precise 3D models and 2D shop drawings for precast concrete elements. You will translate structural calculations into BVBS and CNC-ready files, ensuring proper cage geometry fits molds and avoids congestions.

Role requires 6–10+ years in rebar detailing, with at least 4 years in precast/prestressed work, and strong knowledge of Tekla, AutoCAD, and Revit. Coordinate with engineers and mentor junior staff in a factory setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Drafting Technology.
• 6–10+ years of dedicated structural rebar detailing experience, with at least 4 years focused on precast/prestressed concrete elements.
• Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures or AutoCAD Structural Detailing / Revit.
• Deep knowledge of BS 8666, ACI 315, Eurocode 2, PCI guidelines.
• Solid understanding of concrete cover rules, lap lengths, anchorage zones, and CNC data formats (BVBS/DXF).

Responsibilities

• Model rebar cages and layouts for precast elements.
• Generate 3D reinforcement models and 2D shop drawings.
• Produce BBS and BVBS data files for CNC machines.
• Resolve congestion and spatial clashes.
• Coordinate with structural engineers on constructability.
• Mentor junior detailers and maintain library of components.
• Inspect shop drawings against approved production drawings.
• Suggest value-engineering to reduce scrap and optimize materials.
