Job summary

Client of Forsyth Barnes in Dubai seeks a Portfolio Manager to lead a diversified portfolio across public and private equity, guiding strategy, evaluating performance, and ensuring alignment with long-term objectives. You will balance stewardship with opportunities for growth and drive decisions on partnerships and new structures.

The role requires executive communication with senior stakeholders and disciplined execution across the investment lifecycle in a Dubai-based finance-led organization.

Responsibilities

• Set and refine portfolio priorities across public equity, private equity, and other asset classes.
• Direct the ongoing review of investment performance, valuation, risk exposure, liquidity, and strategic fit.
• Lead the assessment of promising growth companies and determine their suitability for investment.
• Develop investment recommendations supported by rigorous financial, commercial, market, and strategic analysis.
• Identify opportunities to expand or strengthen the portfolio through acquisitions, partnerships, and joint ventures.
• Oversee due diligence, transaction evaluation, investment structuring, and post-investment monitoring.
• Engage with investee companies, advisers, co-investors, and external stakeholders at executive level.
• Present portfolio insights, proposed actions, and capital allocation considerations clearly to decision-makers.
