Job summary

Mace is delivering PMC services for a major mixed-use development in Abu Dhabi. We seek an experienced project director to lead across all construction delivery stages, supervise multidisciplinary teams, and ensure safety, quality and commercial success within an active environment.

The role requires extensive experience with large-scale developments, strong governance and contract administration, and the ability to drive performance across building, infrastructure, and public realm works.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or related discipline.
• Membership in MRICS/MCIOB/PMP or equivalent preferred.
• Extensive experience delivering major building and infrastructure developments.
• Senior PMC, client-side, or programme management leadership experience.
• Experience delivering complex mixed-use, residential, commercial or urban developments.
• Knowledge of governance, contract administration, programme controls and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and accountability for project delivery from pre-construction through handover and close-out.
• Supervise integrated project teams across management, design, commercial, planning and technical specialists.
• Establish governance, reporting, and assurance processes.
• Drive performance against programme, cost, quality, risk, and sustainability objectives.
• Manage recovery and mitigation strategies where required.
• Serve as principal client contact and build relationships with authorities and delivery partners.
• Provide strategic advice to support decision-making.
• Oversee construction activities across multiple workstreams and packages.
• Ensure safe, compliant execution per contractual obligations.
• Lead commercial strategy, contract administration, and change management.
• Review financial performance and ensure delivery within budgets.
• Direct and develop project teams to foster high performance.
• Promote Mace values and best practices across delivery functions.
