Job summary

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Senior Engineer or A (Maintenance Operations & Readiness) for ADNOC in Abu Dhabi. The role is based full-time at the client office in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Responsibilities include developing maintenance readiness plans for offshore facilities, reviewing deliverables for maintainability and reliability, and establishing preventive/predictive maintenance strategies. You will coordinate with Engineering, EPC contractors, Operations, and Vendors throughout project

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 15+ years in oil & gas maintenance.
• Minimum 5 years in offshore operations.
• Experience with ADNOC, major EPC contractors, orinternational oil companies is preferred.
• Proven experience in operations readiness, commissioning, maintenance planning, and asset management.
• Strong knowledge of offshore production facilities including rotating, static, electrical systems, instrumentation and control, and safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Maintenance Readiness Plans for new offshore facilities and brownfield projects.
• Review engineering deliverables to ensure maintainability, operability, and reliability.
• Establish preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Develop maintenance philosophies, procedures, work instructions, and SOPs.
• Prepare and populate SAP PM/CMMS with equipment hierarchy, locations, master data, PM plans, task lists, and BOM.
• Review equipment criticality and perform RCMA, FMEA, and RBM.
• Coordinate with Engineering, EPC contractors, Operations, Commissioning, and Vendors during project execution.
• Verify spare parts strategy, warehouse readiness, and critical spare availability.
• Participate in FAT, SAT, Mechanical Completion, and Commissioning activities.
• Lead maintenance input during PSSR.
• Review commissioning and start-up procedures from a maintenance perspective.
• Support asset integrity, shutdown planning, and turnaround readiness.
• Lead RCFA for major equipment failures.
• Monitor KPIs including Availability, MTBF, MTTR, PM Compliance, Backlog, and Reliability Index.
