Job summary

Hill International is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to support project controls by reviewing, monitoring, and validating construction schedules. You will assess contractor progress, recovery plans, and time-impact claims, with site visits to verify compliance and milestones for residential and mid-rise projects within a PMC/consultancy environment.

Qualifications

Should be qualified Engineer with BSc or higher.
PMP certification preferred.
12–15 years of end-to-end construction project experience.
Experience in residential and tower projects.
Consulting/PMC experience mandatory.
Residential, mid-rise project experience essential.
Proficient with Primavera, MS Project, PowerPoint, etc.

Responsibilities

Review Baseline Schedule and other schedules; report to the Controls Manager.
Monitor contractor progress against approved schedules and report shortages.
Review recovery schedules and ensure adequate supervision.
Conduct site visits to verify progress against milestones.
Review contractor reports and flag deficiencies.
Assess time impact of field design changes and notices; advise on foreseen slippage and corrective actions.
Attend weekly progress meetings and assist in monthly reports.
Review commissioning plans for baseline schedule compliance.
Assist in Close-Out Reports review with PMC staff.
