Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Senior Planning Engineer in Abu Dhabi to lead project planning, scheduling, and forecasting across EPC/PMC environments for large energy projects. You will develop integrated schedules, monitor progress, conduct risk analyses, and deliver progress reporting to senior stakeholders.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Typically 15+ years in project planning, scheduling, and project controls within EPC, PMC, oil & gas, or infrastructure.
• Extensive experience in developing and monitoring complex project schedules.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Strong knowledge of CPM, schedule risk analysis, delay analysis, and recovery planning.
• Experience with EVM, KPI monitoring, productivity analysis, and project performance evaluation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and manage integrated project schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start‑up.
• Establish baselines, milestones, WBS, and schedule control procedures.
• Monitor progress, identify variances and critical issues.
• Perform critical path analysis, what‑if scenarios, and risk assessments.
• Prepare recovery plans and mitigation strategies for delays.
• Review contractor schedules, progress reports, and productivity.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure schedule alignment.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
• Forecast completion dates and provide recommendations to improve schedule performance.
• Support cost control and earned value management activities.
• Monitor resource loading and utilization.
• Support risk management, change management, and claims analysis related to schedule impacts.
• Mentor junior planners and provide technical guidance.
• Support close-out activities and lessons learned.
