MIRA CONSTRUCTION L.L.C in Dubai is seeking an exceptional Lead Planning Engineer to take a strategic role in planning and delivery of large-scale residential and luxury real estate developments.

You will own project planning strategy, drive schedule performance, mentor planning teams, and provide high-level guidance to project directors and senior leadership across major Dubai projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Planning Engineer or Project Controls Engineer.
• Proven experience working on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling methodologies, critical path analysis and progress monitoring.
• Experience with delay analysis, recovery planning and EOT claims.
• Good understanding of project controls and the full construction project lifecycle.
• Experience working with contractors and/or consultancy companies is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, reporting and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with senior management and multiple project stakeholders.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsabilités

• Lead project planning and scheduling strategy across major construction projects, establishing robust planning frameworks and best practices.
• Oversee development and management of comprehensive project schedules from pre-construction through handover.
• Establish and manage baseline programmes and resource-loaded schedules.
• Drive critical path analysis, schedule risk assessments and mitigation planning.
• Monitor performance against baselines and challenge progress assumptions.
• Provide senior management with data-driven insights on progress, risks and dependencies.
• Prepare and present executive-level progress reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with Project Directors, construction teams, consultants and contractors to resolve constraints.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning methodologies and controls processes.
• Mentor and guide planning engineers to maintain high planning standards.
• Develop and support recovery plans and EOT claims where needed.
• Coordinate planning activities with project managers and site teams.
• Review contractors’ programmes for contractual compliance.
• Monitor milestones and reflect site progress in planning data.
• Support forecast and recommendations to improve delivery.
• Provide insights to support management decisions.
