Job summary

MIRAL.LLC in Dubai invites an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join our luxury construction team. The ideal candidate will lead planning and project controls for high-end residential and premium commercial projects, managing schedules, progress tracking, and stakeholder coordination.

You must have UAE experience as a Senior Planning Engineer, advanced Primavera P6 skills, and a proven ability to develop baselines, look-aheads, and recovery plans while reporting to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in planning and project controls within the construction industry.
• Previous experience as a Senior Planning Engineer in UAE is mandatory.
• Experience on luxury/high-end residential, hospitality, commercial, or premium construction projects preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and strong knowledge of scheduling, progress measurement, and delay analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules from start to completion.
• Prepare baseline programmes, recovery programmes, look‑ahead schedules, and progress updates.
• Monitor progress against schedules; identify delays, risks, and impacts.
• Produce regular progress reports, dashboards, and schedule updates for management.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Analyse project performance and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Track critical path activities and ensure timely milestone execution.
• Conduct delay analysis and support recovery planning.
• Review contractor/subcontractor programmes for alignment with objectives.
• Maintain accurate project records and monitor planned vs. actual progress.
• Participate in planning meetings and provide status updates.
• Support resource planning, productivity monitoring, and forecasting.
• Ensure planning/reporting processes align with project requirements and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare baseline programmes, recovery programmes, look-ahead schedules, and progress updates
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify delays, risks, and potential impacts
• Prepare regular progress reports, dashboards, and schedule updates for management
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
• Analyse project performance and provide recommendations for corrective and preventive actions
• Track critical path activities and ensure timely execution of key milestones

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Proven experience in planning and project controls within the construction industry
• Previous experience specifically serving as a Senior Planning Engineer is mandatory
• Experience working on luxury, high-end residential, hospitality, commercial, or premium construction projects is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of construction planning, scheduling, and project controls
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, progress measurement, critical path analysis, and delay analysis
• Excellent understanding of construction methodologies and project execution
• Strong analytical, organisational, and reporting skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with project teams and stakeholders
• Strong communication and coordination skills
