Senior Planner - Infrastructure & Project Controls (P6)

Job summary

LanceSoft Middle East is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to lead planning and project controls for major construction and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. You will develop programmes, monitor progress, and analyse delays to support timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 8–12 years of planning/scheduling experience, strong UAE/GCC PMC or client-side exposure, and advanced Primavera P6 skills. PMP/ PMI-SP or AACE is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline.
• 8–12 years of planning/scheduling experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong UAE/GCC PMC or client-side experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 and project scheduling techniques.
• Strong understanding of critical path, resource loading, progress measurement, and earned value.
• Experience with major infrastructure, roads, bridges, utilities, buildings, or similar projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and FIDIC is an advantage.
• PMP, PMI-SP or AACE certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project programmes using Primavera P6.
• Review contractor baseline programmes, updates, recovery programmes, and schedules.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and milestones.
• Analyse delays, slippages, critical paths, and schedule risks.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and dashboards.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, consultants, contractors, and project controls teams.
• Review contractor progress claims and validate reported progress.
• Support EOT, delay and disruption analysis where required.
• Identify schedule risks and mitigation/recovery measures.
• Ensure programmes align with contracts and objectives.
