Job summary

IMECO in Abu Dhabi leads a skilled team of fabricators, welders and helpers to ensure timely, high-quality and safe execution of piping and structural works. The role covers planning, supervision, and adherence to piping classes and quality control requirements in major projects across static equipment such as vessels and heat exchangers.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• NDT Level I in minimum 3 disciplines is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of piping and erection/welding in oil, gas, petrochemical environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise execution of piping installation and modification based on requirements and codes.
• Coordinate with quality control and NDT teams for welding joints.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, ASTM, AWS, API and other relevant standards.
• Provide technical guidance on piping fabrication and installation.
• Lead toolbox talks and promote safe work practices.
• Oversee shop and field activities, maintain records and schedules.
