Job summary

Durucooperation UAE is seeking Experienced Welding Inspectors to oversee cross-country pipeline welding inspection and quality control activities. Candidates should have 10+ years in pipeline projects, CSWIP 3.1, and at least 3 years post-certification experience.

Responsibilities include inspections, verifying WPS/PQR, coordinating NDT, reviewing records, and ensuring compliance with project quality and HSE requirements. Strong communication and reporting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in pipeline projects.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience after completing the required certification.
• Valid CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector Certification.
• Relevant Welding Inspection Certification.
• Proven experience in cross-country pipeline welding inspection.
• Strong knowledge of welding inspection procedures, WPS/PQR, weld acceptance criteria, and NDT coordination.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, welding documentation, specifications, and inspection reports.
• Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding inspections for cross-country pipeline construction activities in accordance with approved procedures, specifications, and project requirements.
• Inspect welding joints, fit-up, welding parameters, consumables, workmanship, and completed welds.
• Verify compliance with approved WPS/PQR, drawings, specifications, and applicable quality standards.
• Monitor welders and welding activities to ensure compliance with approved procedures and qualified processes.
• Review welding inspection records, weld maps, NDT reports, and related quality documentation.
• Identify and report welding defects, deviations, and non-conformities and support corrective actions.
• Coordinate with welding teams, QA/QC personnel, NDT teams, engineers, and client representatives.
• Maintain accurate inspection reports and ensure traceability of welding activities.
• Ensure all inspection activities comply with project quality and HSE requirements.
