Stafmed is recruiting a highly experienced Consultant Pediatric Intensivist (PICU Consultant) for a full-time role at a leading hospital in the UAE. You will lead pediatric critical care in the PICU, guiding care for complex cases and overseeing advanced procedures.

The role requires board certification in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine and eligibility for DHA/DOH/MOHAP licensing. Strong leadership and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams are essential to deliver excellent patient

• Board-certified in pediatric critical care medicine with extensive PICU experience.
• Eligibility for consultant licensing with DHA/DOH/MOHAP.
• Strong leadership and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical care management for critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU.
• Manage complex medical, surgical, and postoperative pediatric intensive care cases.
• Perform and oversee advanced critical care procedures and interventions.
• Manage respiratory failure, sepsis, shock, trauma, and multi-organ dysfunction in pediatric patients.
• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative critical care support.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and guidelines.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, surgeons, and anesthesiologists to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Participate in clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support medical education, training, and departmental development.
