Job summary

abu cats club is seeking a Performance Test Engineer to design, execute, and analyse performance testing across applications and services. You will collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, DevOps, DBAs, and product teams to ensure scalable, reliable performance and high quality releases.

The role encompasses creating automated test scripts, monitoring, and reporting, while supporting release readiness and capacity planning within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Performance Testing, Software Testing, QA Engineering, Test Engineering, or a related technical role
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, STLC, QA processes, and defect-management practices
• Hands-on experience with performance-testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, k6, BlazeMeter, or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of load, stress, endurance, spike, scalability and capacity testing

Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, scalability, and capacity tests.
• Develop test plans, strategies, tests and scripts.
• Analyze requirements to define performance objectives and benchmarks.
• Identify bottlenecks and perform root-cause analysis with cross-functional teams.
• Automate performance tests and integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
