Job summary

Epergne Solutions in Dubai, UAE seeks a Senior/Lead Penetration Test Engineer with 6+ years of experience to lead security assessments across web, mobile, APIs, and cloud environments. You will perform hands-on testing, code reviews, and deliver actionable remediation guidance to stakeholders.

You will also evaluate Docker/Kubernetes security, communicate findings clearly, and contribute to secure SDLC practices in a dynamic, client-facing role.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in penetration testing across web, mobile, and API domains.
• Ability to identify, assess and exploit vulnerabilities with structured methodologies.
• Experience conducting source code security reviews and remediation guidance.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, API Top 10, and Mobile Top 10.
• Cloud security design and assessment in AWS and/or Azure.
• Experience with container security in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform Web, Mobile, and API penetration testing using manual and automated techniques.
• Conduct source code security reviews to identify vulnerabilities and coding weaknesses.
• Assess application security against OWASP Top 10, API Top 10, and Mobile Top 10 standards.
• Perform security assessments of cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Evaluate containerized environments including Docker and Kubernetes for security risks.
• Identify, validate, and exploit vulnerabilities while maintaining testing methodologies and standards.
• Analyze network security controls, protocols, and attack vectors.
• Prepare detailed penetration testing reports with technical findings, risk ratings, proof-of-concepts, and remediation recommendations.
• Present findings to technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Support secure development practices and vulnerability remediation efforts.
